Before confirming your order with Cherry On Top please read the below Terms and Conditions. This document tells you the terms and conditions in which we sell and supply goods to you.
Payment of your booking deposit confirms your agreement with our Terms and Conditions.

To secure your booking with Cherry On Top, we require a non-refundable booking deposit of £50.00 for wedding cakes, large orders, and £20 for celebrations cakes and smaller orders. Your date is not secured and your order is not confirmed until we have received the booking deposit.
All quotations will be sent via e-mail and are valid for 7 days from date of issue. We reserve the right to revise prices after this period.

Remaining Balance
For wedding cakes and large orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the date of delivery.
For celebration cake orders and smaller orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to collection, unless agreed otherwise.

All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
For cancellations of wedding orders; cancellations made within 56 days of date or order required – 50% of full payment is required and within 28 days of delivery date, the full payment (including the booking deposit) is non-refundable. For cancellations of celebrations cakes and all other orders, cancellations made within 7 days of order – full payment required (including booking deposit) is non-refundable.

Delivery/Set Up
Cherry On Top are happy to deliver your wedding cake and large orders for an additional charge. This will be included in your initial quote.
Once the order has been delivered and set up or collected you are responsible for it and we will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising. If the cake is moved after set up Cherry On Top will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage arising.
If you request that we leave your cakes somewhere or with someone, this is your responsibility. We will not be liable if they do not arrive with you safely after we have handed them over.

If you wish to postpone your wedding booking date for any reason, you must request this by email, and we will check our availability. A £25 postponement admin fee would apply. All deposit payments would then be transferred to the new date and any items listed in the invoice, provided they are available.
In the event that Cherry On Top are not available for the postponed wedding/event date, our cancellation policy (above) remains.
Postponements are available up until 4 weeks before the scheduled event date, after this, dates are non-transferable and final balances for the original dates are payable.
We strongly recommend you take out wedding insurance to cover your date.

Hired Items
All hired items belong to Cherry On Top and must not be defaced, tampered with or changed.  All breakages, loss or damages will result in a loss of bond held against items hired.
All hire items are your responsibility until they are returned back to Cherry On Top.
Damaged, broken or lost items will remain the property of the Cherry On Top and if a replacement charge is required this will be invoiced to, you, the customer for any products that are damaged, broken or lost.  These items will be invoiced to the customer to replace like for like including P&P.
Unless stated otherwise all hire items must be returned within 4 days of hire.

Final Design
Cherry On Top will create your order as per the final detail booking. Please double-check this form to ensure that it is detailed as you require.
Cherry On Top do reserve the right if the need arises to use their creative talent to amend the design if required.  This includes if supplies, stock or items have been substituted, unavailable or haven’t arrived in time.
By paying your final invoice, you are confirming that what is detailed on the final confirmation is what you want us to provide.

We cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain any substance that may cause some form of allergic reaction. You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but is not limited to: celery, cereals (containing Gluten), Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame, Soybeans, Sulphur Dioxide.
You should also note that some decorations are not edible (dowels, fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards, etc). You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from any such exposure.
A dietary list of ingredients can be provided to you if required. This must be requested a minimum of 4 weeks before your event. If a venue requires a list of ingredients this is to be requested via you and not the venue a minimum of 4 weeks before your event.
Our products contain gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs and may contain traces of nuts unless otherwise stated.
We are willing to accommodate for certain allergies however, please consider this is a working kitchen full of a wide range of ingredients. We will use the correct ingredients for your allergy but we cannot guarantee it will be free from that particular requirement due to the kitchen it is baked in. We accept no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes.


Cherry On Top do not hold any responsibility for adverse weather conditions affecting access to any venue. Cherry On Top will give every attempt to get to the venue only when it is deemed safe.
Cherry On Top cannot be held responsible for ‘Acts of God’ (Fire, flood etc), Government Advice, Pandemics, labour disputes, failure of electricity supply and any other unforeseeable circumstance that prevent the promise of its services.
Cherry On Top reserve the rights to review and update the Terms and Conditions periodically.


The privacy and security of your information is important to us. To enable us to provide you with the right product or service to meet your needs, we collect personal information from a number of sources including our website contact form, our subscribe form, our shop platform, wedding shows and events.
The personal data we collect is made up of some or all of the following: name, email address, phone number, contact address, dietary requirements. Your personal data is only used to carry out the services we offer.
When paying for products on our website, we use Strip for our payments. Therefore we can access the details you share with Stripe when making a purchase on our website. Please refer to Stripes Privacy Policy for details of how this information is protected and stored.
Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary.
We do not share personal data with any third parties, bodies or organisations.
Under Data Protection Law you have the right to request details of any personal information that we hold about you and for this information to be disregarded.
You also have the right to change the permissions that you have given us in relation to how we may use your information and you have the right to request that we stop using your information or that we delete all personal information that we hold relating to you.
